
World Baking Day is a day marked to celebrate all passionate bakers of the world. Baking is an art which is undertaken by people of a ages. This day celebrates them all and calls to bake a new dish. Here are some dishes to bake on this day.
1.Brownie
Brownie is a dessert loved by all. A brownie can be made cakey, chewy, or fudgy depending upon the person’s choice. A simple recipe for fudgy brownies includes flour, cocoa powder, sugar, eggs, chocolate chips, and oil. Brownies have a rich taste and are not too chocolaty. We can make vanilla brownies with flour, sugar, butter, eggs, and baking powder.

2.Cheesecake
Cheesecakes are a bit difficult to make but the final dish is worth every hour spent. It is rich, creamy, and sweet. There are many popular flavours of cheesecake like blueberry, biscoff, mango, etc. To make a blueberry cheesecake, we need Graham crackers, butter, flour, sugar, cream cheese, eggs, blueberries, lemon, and vanilla extract.

Tart is a type of dessert where a base of pastry is filled with a certain kind of filling. The top isn’t covered. The base is made with flour, sugar, butter, and eggs. To make a lemon tart, the lemon filling is made with lemon zest, lemon juice, sugar, cream, and butter.

Cookies are a small and flat baked dessert. It can be made with flour, sugar, eggs, butter, oil, and then, we can add some chocolate chips or nuts. To make red velvet cookies, we need flour, butter, sugar, red food coloring, eggs, cocoa powder, baking powder, and white chocolate chips.

They are a popular dessert in Northern Europe. It is known as kanelbulle in Sweden, korvapuusti in Finland, and Zimtschnecke in Germany. The ingredients needed are flour, yeast, sugar, butter, milk, cinnamon, brown sugar, cream cheese, baking powder, and salt. They can be eaten as a snack or breakfast.

6.Donuts
Donuts are a type of dessert that can be fried or baked. Donuts are typically ring-shaped but can be a standard circular shape as well. They might or might not be filled with filling. The top is usually decorated with toppings. The ingredients to make a donut are flour, yeast, butter, sugar, eggs, baking powder, and milk. We can add a glaze for donuts and we can make that using confectioner’s sugar, milk, and vanilla extract. To make a chocolate glaze, we need cocoa powder, milk, and vanilla extract. We can add sprinkles on top.

They are soft and sweet. This is a perfect dish to try with leftover bananas. The ingredients are bananas, flour, yeast, sugar, butter, eggs, vanilla extract, and baking soda. We can add nuts like raisin, walnuts, pecan, etc.

Whenever we hear “baked goods,” all we remember are sweet desserts. But we can bake savoury delicacies as well. Such an example is to make savoury muffins. To make a Mediterranean savory muffin, we need flour, baking powder, egg, milk, cream, cheese, olive, and pepper.

Cake is a famous dessert baked with flour, sugar, etc. There are many flavours of cake like chocolate, vanilla, etc. We can decorate with icings and various toppings. This cake is famous all over Latin America. The speciality lies in the fact that this cake is soaked in 3 types of milk- condensed, evaporated, and whole milk.
