Soup is a kind of healthy food in liquid form. Many of us prefer eating tasty food, but when it comes to the liquid part of the food, we do not like or prefer it. It may be because we think that it’s not tasty or beneficial. But the liquid part of our food is the most nutritious part. Here are 20 different kinds of soup that are tasty and healthy!

1 Tomato Soup

Tomato is the most important and most used vegetable in today’s kitchen. So why not make it’s soup and have a healthy and fit life!


  1. Tomato- 3 pieces
  2. Butter- 1 tsp
  3. Ginger- 1 inch
  4. Red chili sauce- 1/2 tsp
  5. Tomato sauce- 1 tbsp
  6. Salt- 1/2 TSP
  7. Black pepper powder- 1/2 tsp.


  1. Churn tomato into the mixture until it turns into fine liquid.
  2. Chop ginger into fine pieces. Put a frying pan on gas and melt the butter. Put ginger into the butter until it turns dark brown.
  3. Add red chili sauce and tomato sauce and mix it for a minute.
  4. Filter the tomato liquid through filtering sieve. Then put the filtered liquid into the ginger butter mixture in the pan.
  5. Add salt, black pepper powder in the mixture and let it boil for 4-5 minutes. Serve it in bowls.

2 Spinach Soup

Let’s have a healthy treat. Why not try this soup made with spinach!


  1. Spinach- 100gms
  2. Butter- 1 tbsp
  3. Ginger- 1 inch
  4. Garlic- 3 to 4 cloves
  5. Cumin powder- 1 tsp
  6. Salt- ½ tsp
  7. Black pepper powder- ¼ tsp
  8. Lemon juice- ½ tsp.


  1. Boil the spinach and grind it in a mixture after it cools.
  2. Melt butter in a saucepan and put ginger, garlic in it. Fry it until it becomes golden brown. Put the spinach paste in the ginger garlic mixture in pan and add one glass of water in it. Boil for 3-4 minutes.
  3. Add black pepper powder, salt and cumin powder in it. Again boil it for 1 minute. Add lemon juice in it and serve in the bowl.

3 Rice Water Soup

Rice is the most common dish of India. But very few would have tried this form of rice. Don’t throw the rice water. Use it as soup.


  1. Cooked rice water-resistant 3 cups.
  2. Mixture of veggies- 1 cup:-Green peas, Grated carrots, Capsicum chopped
  3. Butter- 1 tsp
  4. Cumin seeds- ½ tsp
  5. Salt- ½ tsp
  6. Black pepper powder- ½ tsp
  7. Cream- ½ tbsp


  1. Put a frying pan on gas. Melt the butter in the pan.Add cumin seeds into it.
  2. After ½ minute, add the vegetable mix and mix it. After2 to 3 minutes, add rice water into it.
  3. Boil it for 2- minutes and add cream in it. Again boil it until it becomes a little thick. Add salt and black pepper powder.
  4. Serve it in a bowl and garnish with cream.

4 Cream And Corn Soup

How about a delicious combo of corn and cream as a soup!? Well here is the recipe.


  1. Grated corn- ½ cup
  2. Corn- ½ cup
  3. Butter- 1 tbsp
  4. White flour(maida)- 1 tbsp
  5. Milk- ½ cup
  6. Black pepper powder- ¼ tsp
  7. Cream- ¼ cup
  8. Sugar- ½ tbsp sugar
  9. Salt to taste


  1. Boil grated corn and corn.
  2. Blend grated corn into a blender until it turns into liquid form. Filter the liquid through filtering sieve. Add boiled corn and water into it.
  3. Put a pan on gas and add butter in it. Add white flour in the butter and mix it thoroughly. Add milk in it immediately and mix it nicely.
  4. Now add the white sauce (milk mixture) into the corn pulp. Add sugar, salt, back pepper powder in it. Serve it in bowls.

5 Carrot Soup

Carrot tastes so good when we eat it. But it tastes even better if we drink it as a hot soup especially in winters.


  1. Carrots- 2large,sliced
  2. Vegetable broth- 1 cup
  3. Vegetable oil- 2 tsp
  4. Onion- ½ diced
  5. Garlic- ½ cloves
  6. Potatoes- 2 ½ potatoes
  7. Ginger- 1 TSP grated
  8. Curry powder- ½ tsp
  9. Salt- ½ tsp
  10. Pepper powder- ½ tsp


  1. Put a pan on gas and heat oil in it. Add onion, garlic and ginger and mix it until it gets golden brown. Then add carrots and potatoes. Mix it nicely and leave it on the medium flame for 10 minutes.
  2. Then put it into the mixture. Churn it until it turns into a liquefied  paste.
  3. Boil the mixture for 2 minutes. Add salt and add salt and pepper while boiling. Serve it in bowls.

6 Manchow Soup

Trying this soup will give you a seasoning taste of vegetables with a Chinese tadka.


For Vegetable stock

  1. Shredded Cabbage- ½ small cup
  2. Grated Carrots- ½ small cup
  3. Chopped celery- ¼ small cup
  4. Chopped spring onions- 2 tbsp
  5. Cauliflower- 2 florets

For soup

  1. Vegetable stock- 2 cups
  2. Finely chopped Garlic- 2 tsp
  3. Finely chopped Ginger- 2 tsp
  4. Oil – 1 tbsp
  5. Finely chopped cauliflower- 1 tbsp
  6. Finely chopped capsicum- 1 tbsp
  7. Finely chopped tomatoes- 1 tbsp
  8. Finely chopped mint leaves- 2 tsp
  9. Finely chopped coriander- 1 tsp
  10. Cornflour – 1 tbsp
  11. Soy sauce- ½ tbsp
  12. Black pepper powder- ¼ tsp
  13. Find noodles
  14. Finely chopped Carrots- 1 tbsp
  15. Finely chopped cabbage- 1 tbsp
  16. Finely chopped ginger- ½ tbsp

Steps: –

  1. Add three cups of water in a pan and addcabbage carrots, celery, spring onions and cauliflower florets.
  2. Heat the oil in a saucepan. Add garlic, ginger, and chili in it. Then add cauliflower, cabbage, capsicum,carrots and mix them for 2 minutes. Then add tomatoes, coriander and mint leaves in it.
  3. Add vegetable stock in it and then cook for 3 minutes. Mix it from time to time.
  4. Add Cornflour water mixture, soy sauce, black pepper powder and salt in it. Leave it on gas for 3-4 minutes. Serve it in bowls and add fried noodles as toppings.

7 Spring Onion Soup

This is a perfect soup for lovers of tasty and healthy Soup.


  1. Spring onions- 10 to 12 pieces
  2. Garlic finely chopped- 2 cloves
  3. Oil- 2 tsp
  4. Cream- ½ cup
  5. Salt- ½ tsp
  6. Black pepper powder- 1 tsp


  1. Separate the top and bottom part of spring onions. Heat oil in a saucepan and garlic and bottom part of spring onion. Mix till it becomes little golden brown.
  2. Add top part of spring onion and mix without letting the Color change. Cool it.
  3. Blend the mixture. Add water, cream. Heat the liquefied mixture again and add salt and black pepper powder in it. Serve it in a bowl.

8 Tomato Corn Soup

This soup can give you a perfect blend of tomato and corn in your mouth.


  1. Tomatoes- 4 boiled.
  2. Butter- 1 tbsp
  3. Onion- ½ chopped or grated.
  4. Bay leaf- 1
  5. Black pepper powder- ½ tsp
  6. Crushed Garlic- 4 cloves.
  7. Coriander – ½ cup
  8. Cooked sweet Corn- ½ cup
  9. Soy sauce – 1 tsp
  10. Tomato sauce- 2 ½ tsp
  11. Cream- 1 tsp
  12. Chili powder- 1 tsp
  13. Salt to taste.


  1. Melt the butter in a saucepan. Add garlic, bay leaf in it.
  2. Make puree of the boiled tomatoes and add the puree in a saucepan. Add coriander and water.
  3. Strain the mixture. Put the strained mixture again in saucepan. Add tomatoes sauce, soysauce, cooked sweet corn, salt, black pepper powder in it and mix well at medium flame for 3-4 minutes.
  4. Serve it in bowls and do the toppings with cream.

9 Tomato Carrot Soup

Why eat carrot and tomato separately? Mix it and have it’s soup to experience something really tasty and healthy.


  1. Tomato- 2 pieces
  2. Carrots- 2 pieces
  3. French beans- 5 to 6 pieces
  4. Onion- 1
  5. Garlic- 3 cloves, chopped
  6. Cumin powder- ½ tsp
  7. Black pepper powder- 1 tsp
  8. Butter- 1 tbsp
  9. Black salt as per taste


  1. Boil the tomatoes, carrots, French beans, onions, garlic into pressure cooker or pot. Cool them, then make their paste in a blender.
  2. Heat a pan on gas. Put  butter in it.Add cumin powder in it. Then add the vegetable paste in it.
  3. Add water, Black salt, Black pepper and let it boil for 2 to 3 minutes.
  4. Serve it in bowls with coriander or grated cheese as topping.

10 Yellow Mung Dal Soup

Having dal and rice is common. But having dal soup is something new and tasty.


  1. Yellow Mung Dal- 1 cup.
  2. Turmeric – ¼tsp
  3. Salt- 1tsp
  4. Water-2 to 3 cups
  5. Corriender chutney- ¼ cup
  6. Cumin seeds- ½ tsp
  7. Butter- 1 tbsp
  8. Pinch of asefetida (hing)
  9. Finely sliced Ginger- 2 tsp
  10. Lemon juice- 1 tsp


  1. Boil the mung dal in a cooker adding water,  salt, turmeric in it.
  2. Remove the water from dal and keep it aside. Make the paste of dal by blending it in mixture.
  3. In a pan, add butter, cumin seeds and asefetida. Then add the mung dal paste in it.
  4. Add the water that we kept aside in it. Add coriander chutney in it. Boil it again for 2 minutes.Serve it in bowls and garnish it with lemon juice and ginger.

11 Guava Soup

As a fruit, guava is very tasty, and many of us love to eat it. Many of us know to make its curry. But little do we have an idea what it’s like to have a guava soup!


  1. Chopped guava –2 cups
  2. Rice flour – 1 tbsp
  3. Salt to taste
  4. Coriander powder- ½ tbsp
  5. Blanched sweet Corn- 1 tbsp
  6. Chili powder- ½ tsp
  7. Lemon juice- 1 tsp
  8. Turmeric powder- ¼ tsp
  9. Sugar- ½ tsp
  10. Ginger green chilli paste – ½ tsp
  11. Cumin seeds- ½ tsp
  12. Chopped fenugreek (methi) leaves- 1 tbsp
  13. Oil- 1 tsp


  1. Boil the guavas and remove water from boiled guavas. Blend it in mixture to make pulp.
  2. Make rice flour and water mixture and keep it aside. Then heat a sauce pan and oil in it. Add cumin seeds in it. Add guava  pulp in it. Then add water, rice flour and water mixture and all other ingredients in it.
  3. Mix it nicely and boil it for 1 to 2 minutes. Serve it in bowls and garnish with coriander leaves.

12 Vegetarian Borscht Soup

A delicious combo of carrot, onions and beat root. Which will surely be added in your winter dinner menu!


  1. Tomatoes- 4 pieces
  2. Beetroot- 3 pieces
  3. Carrots- 3 pieces
  4. Thinly sliced cabbage- 2 cups
  5. Potatoes- 2 to 3 pieces
  6. Onion- 2 pieces
  7. Chopped dill leaves- 2 cups
  8. Coriander powder- 1 tsp
  9. Turmeric powder- ½ tsp
  10. Garlic- 2 to 3 cloves
  11. Cumin seeds- 1 tsp
  12. Oil- 3 tbsp
  13. Salt to taste


  1. Boil the beetroot in water. Keep the boil beat root and beat root stock separately.Let the boiled beat root cool and grate them. Chop potatoes and add it into stock. Then add cabbage into the stock in which potatoes are boiling.
  2. In a separate pan, heat the oil, add cumin seeds, garlic and onion in the pan. Saute it until it becomes a little soft.
  3. Chop carrots. Add grated beat root and chopped carrot in the pan. Mix it for 7-8 minutes. Then add the vegetable mixture with  stock into the pan and let them boil for 10-15 minutes.
  4. Add salt and pepper.Serve the soup with cream as toppings.

13 Creamy Tomato Soup

If just having tomato soup does not satisfy you and you need some variation. Then you must try this new way of having a tomato soup.


  1. Tomato- 3 pieces
  2. Butter- 1 tsp
  3. Ginger- 1 inch
  4. Tomato sauce- ½ tsp
  5. Salt- ½ tsp
  6. Black pepper- ½ tsp
  7. Cream- 1 cup
  8. Asafoetida- 1 pinch


  1. Blend tomato ginger togather into the mixture until it becomes liquid.
  2. Heat a pan and put butter in it. Add acefetida into the pan. Then add tomato mixture in it. Add water and boil it for 2 minutes. Then add cream in the mixture. Mix it for 1 to 2 minute.
  3. Serve it in bowl and garnish with coriander leaf.

14 Vegetable Noodle soup

How about a combo of seasoning vegetables, noodles and exotic thai flavours in a soup!


  1. Chopped cabbage- ½  cup
  2. Chopped spring onions- ½ cup
  3. Oil- 1 tbsp
  4. Tomato sauce- 2 tsp
  5. Water- 2 to 3 cups
  6. Boiled noodles- 1 cup
  7. Chopped Carrots- ½ cup
  8. Chopped green bell pepper- 1)2 cup
  9. Salt to taste
  10. Black pepper powder- ¼ tsp
  11. Soy sauce- 2 tsp


  1. Heat a pan.Add oil in it. Add onion, garlic and mix it until it becomes soft and golden brown. Add chopped vegetables and soute it for 5 minutes.
  2. Add soy sauce and tomato sauce. Mix it well. Then add boiled noodles in it. Again saute it well. Then add water in it. Let it boil for 5-8 minutes. Add salt and black pepper powder.
  3. Serve it in the bowl and add spring onion for toppings( not mandatory).

15 Mango Coconut And Lime Soup

This soup will take you to a trip to Hawaii. Tough it is expensive if buyed directly. But if u make it, it will be an amazing treat to your mouth.Unlike other soups, it’s not hot. It’s cold.


  1. Mangoes- 3 pieces
  2. Yougurt- 1 cup
  3. Coconut Milk- ½ cup
  4. Low fat Milk- ½ cup
  5. Lime juice- 1 tbsp
  6. Lime zest- 1 tsp
  7. Honey- 2 tsp
  8. Salt – ½ tsp
  9. Black pepper powder- ½ tsp


  1. Cut mangoes and remove the seeds. Put the mangoes in a mixer. Blend it nicely. Add all other ingredients into the mixer.
  2. Mix it well until it gives a creamy texture. Keep it in refrigerator for cooling. Serve it in bowls.

16 Lady Finger Soup

Lady finger curry is very tasty and many people eat it. But have you ever thought what a lady finger soup is like? It’s very beneficial if you are unwell.


  1. Lady finger- 12 pieces
  2. Ghee- ¼ tsp
  3. Black pepper- ¼ tsp
  4. Chopped mint leaves- 2 tsp
  5. Water- 2 ½ cup
  6. Salt to taste


  1. Boil water in a pan. Add ladyfingers in the water and let it boil until the water becomes 1 ¼ cup. ( Which is half of 2 ½ cup)
  2. Strain the water and keep it aside. Heat a frying pan and add ghee in it. Add mint leaves in it.Then add the strained water which was kept aside. Add black pepper powder and salt.Boil it for 1 minute.
  3. Serve it in bowls and put coriander or mint leaves as topping.

17 Cabbage Soup

This soup so not only tasty, but it also acts like a detox. So those who wants to maintain or loose weight, can have this soup.


  1. Finely chopped cabbage- 2 cups
  2. Tomato puree – 2 tbsp
  3. Garlic- 2 cloves
  4. Chopped tomatoes- 1 cup
  5. Chopped onion- ½ cup
  6. Mix vegetable- 1 cup
  7. Vegetable stock- 3 cup
  8. Basil leaves – 2 tbsp
  9. Oil- 1 tsp
  10. Salt and black pepper to taste.


  1. Heat a saucepan. Add oil in it. Add onion, garlic and saute until it turns slight brown. Add tomato puree in it.Mix for 2-3 minutes. Add tomato in it.
  2. Add cabbage, mix vegetable and vegetable stock in the mixture and let it boil for 10 minutes. Add salt and black pepper in it.
  3. Serve it in bowls. Can do the toppings with lemon juice.

  1. Onion- 1 large
  2. Butter- 2 tbsp
  3. Black pepper powder- ¼  tsp

  5. Vegetable broth- 2 cup
  6. Shredded Cheddar cheese- 1 cup


  1. Heat the pan and add butter in it.Chop the onion and add those onions into the pan. Fry it until the onions become slight soft and brown.
  2. Add vegetable broth. Boil it for 2 minutes. Then add cheese in it. Let the mixture boil until the cheese melts in it.

  1. Ginger- 1 tsp( finely chopped)
  2. Garlic- 3 cloves (chopped)
  3. Chopped onions- 3 tbsp

  6. Water- 3 to 4 cups

  1. Cucumber- 3 pieces
  2. Onion- 1 piece
  3. Vegetable stock- 3-4 cup
  4. Fresh parsley
  5. Lemons- 2 pieces
  6. Fresh Cream- 2 cup


  1. Heat a pan. Add oil in it. Chop onion and cucumber. Add onion in it and fry until it becomes soft and slightly brown.Add cucumber and chopped parsley in it And fry for 4-5 minutes. Add Vegetable stock and let it boil for another 5 minutes.
  2. Let it cool.  Add fresh cream in it Then blend it in mixture to transform it into liquid paste. Keep it in fridge to cool.
  3. Pour it in bowl and garnish it with lemon juice.
