So let’s start with shakes n juices;

  1. Chikoo shake: it was simply delicious and the flavor of chikoo was a sweet delight, it was a mysteriously fascinating drink, one cannot recover from soon.
  2. Watermelon juice: which was a welcome change from the regular watermelon juices with it chunks of watermelon hidden in the awesome juice.

Besides chikoo shake and watermelon juice they also serve grape juice and anar juice i.e pomegranate juice and I was stuck in a limbo after looking at the menu, it’s a hard choice to make. Moving towards pav bhaji this place is famous for its pav bhaji and they have 14 different types of pav bhaji including JAIN PAV BHAJI and 5 different pavs. One thing I really cannot get over is the cheese masala pav, that is something that has to be tasted once.

The rates were also reasonable Chikoo shake cost rs 80. Watermelon juice cost rs 60 and cheese masala pav bhaji was just for rs 150.jain-pav-bhaji

If you’re a North Indian and are craving for some good Punjabi food, then you are at the right place. Their Dal is mouthwatering and this is a branch of a famous age old restaurant at Chowpatty that serves amazing Indian food at a very cheap rate. Ambiance here is very simple and decent but the food is just awesome. Here they serve non veg as well as veg unlike Chowpatty outlet there they serve only veg food. The owner himself is present at the outlet so that he can ensure 100℅ service and there is no compromise made in food quality. Aloo jeera, paneer lababdar, dal fry and hot fresh rotis are something one can’t ignore. For desserts kulfi and fruit cream are something one needs to taste. 12.Quattro

Quattro is hands down one of the classiest and elegant places in Mumbai. Went here to try the Mexican cuisine. The place has a good seating capacity. I rarely visit high end only veg places but somehow always wanted to try Quattro as many of my friends had recommended it. The menu had a great variety. The table was loaded with a variety of sauces that proved to be really great for food and added a twist in its taste. In salads Insallate Castoano is a must try it was great experience. It had a variety of ingredients that are good to taste and even good for health like water chestnut beans and cherry tomatoes. It was tossed in a Mexican sauce which gave it a really different but nice flavor. The dish was presented really well and had a really good flavor. Taquitos consists of fried gluten free Tortilla cones. It had a vegetable and salsa stuffing and the best part was the Avocado ice cream. This is a must have in my opinion. Chocolate explosion is one of my favorites.

The Friends Union Joshi Club was started by a freedom fighter Govindram Shankarji in 1945. Location is really difficult to reach even if you are familiar with that area you may still find difficulty to find that place. Food is purely vegetarian. Food is simple but delicious. And the most important and best part is that it is pocket friendly if you’ll compare the price of this same thali at other restaurants it is comparatively high at other places and also the food here is way better than anywhere else. The unique part of this thali is a coined shaped puran poli and those are taste amazing.

17.Aaswad

Well, if you haven’t tried Maharashtrian food yet or you love to have Maharashtrian food then this is the place to be. Right opposite Sena Bhavan in Dadar on main road is this small place which serves pure veg food. They have decent normal wooden tables and cushion chair air conditioned sittings. You must try thalipith trust me it was too good. I Will highly recommend everyone to try it. Pithale Bhaji bhakari, vatana usal with bhakari proved to be an amazing combination. The butter and chutney served along with both items enhanced its flavors. Kothimbir wadi and batata wada both the items had authentic Maharashtrian taste. Misal Pav too was awesome they even had rawa dosa, as well as pizza and both the items were good. Overall this place is recommended.
