The Hindu temples and classical architecture are the attractions of visitors. However, Tamil Nadu is also famous for its mouth-watering food. The specialty, they served their food on banyan leaves. They represent their ethnicity through food. The prominent cuisines of Tamil Nadu are Sambhar, idli, uttapam, and rasam. Rice is the staple food here. And it’s also the main element of Tamil’s food. Rasam is my favorite recipe. The main element in Rasam is Tamarind. It forms the base of the soup. Then, we added tomatoes to it that relished its taste. Rasam is an eminent dish that is poured over the rice like curry. It is the best go-to option for dinner.



Many types of dosa are famous in Tamil Nadu. The kinds of dosa are Paper dosa, neer dosa, and rava dosa. Let’s talk about paper dosa, a cone-shaped thin layer of paper. It is served along with sambhar and coconut chutney. It is made of batter of rice. All the other dosa are made in the same way. But their ingredients are different.



Tamil Nadu food is incomplete without Sambhar. It is a curry like a dal. It has a different taste from other dal because of its unique spices. It is a little sour because of the tamarind base.
