1. Cauliflower Pizza Crust

Giving cauliflower an Italian twist, prepare a pizza base out of cauliflower which is crushed to small pieces, two cups mozzarella cheese, two eggs and a seasoning of your choice. Combine the ingredients, press on a greased pizza pan and bake for 12-15 minutes in a preheated oven up to 425 Fahrenheit.  Your base is ready. Serve with any topping you want! And you can add cauliflowers in the topping too.

2. Gobi 65

A vegetarian form of chicken 65. It is tastes good with naan, roti or rice. To prepare this, separate florets and soak in salted warm water for 15 minutes, drain and keep aside. Add flour, salt, ginger-garlic paste and red chilly powder in a bowl, mix and add the cauliflowers. Deep fry till golden brown. Then sauté with cumin seeds, garlic, chilies, curry leaves. Add yogurt or sauce according to you. Gobi 65 is ready.

3. Gobi Ke Danthal Ki Sabzi

The green stalks around the cauliflower are incorporated into the dish. They are called danthal in Hindi. Wash and slice the stalks into cubes or strips. And finely chop them. Sauté them in a pan with oil, chopped ginger, garlic and onions. Then cook in a pressure cooker until tender. Serve hot with chapattis.

4. Cauliflower Crust With Bread-Sticks

Bread sticks are a little twist to the regular cauliflower. To make this prepare the bread dough with grated cauliflower (baked till softened), garlic (sautéed), egg and cheese, seasonings, salt and pepper. Bake. Serve hot or warm.

5. Roasted Cauliflower Hummus

Hummus is an Egyptian spread made out of mashed chickpeas. In this dish, the chickpeas are replaced with cauliflower. First, roast the cauliflower florets. Combine this roasted cauliflower, garlic, tahini (toasted, ground and hulled sesame seeds), lemon juice, olive juice, salt, and pepper. Process it in a food processor until smooth.

Replace the all-purpose flour in the muffin mix with finely processed cauliflower. Add ham, mushrooms, and eggs for this fulfilling meal.

Sounds weird right? Well, it’s not! It just that sometimes the variant rice should be cooked for a change of taste. For cauliflower rice, you can either grate the cauliflower or process it in a food processor. Then heat the pan with a little oil, and cook till it turns tender and a little brown.

10. Cauliflower Noodle Lasagna

Though this is a little difficult to make, it’s worth it. The lasagna (wide flat shaped pasta) noodles are made from cauliflowers. You can even have it with the cauliflower sauce!

Dip the cauliflower florets in a paste made of flour. Deep fry them. Mix in a sauce made of orange juice and serve.

You may ask what actually tots are. So let’s see. Shred the cauliflowers, and drain the excess water. Make it as dry as possible. Add fried onions, egg whites and salt. Mix till they bind together. Refrigerate so that the outside becomes crispy. Dip them in egg yolk and roll them in bread crumbs. Fill these in muffin tins. Bake them till they are golden and crispy.

14. Spice Whole Roasted Cauliflower

Clean out the stalks and carve out the core, leaving the florets intact. Place it on a baking pan. Coat it with olive oil and then spread all the spices you want. Roast for about 1 hour, till the insides are tender and outside is crisp. Serve with a dip or sauce of your choice.

15. Cauliflower Tso’s General

This cauliflower has no relation with General Tso; it is just a variation of General Tso’s chicken, a Chinese dish in honor of him. To prepare this, mix cornstarch, sesame oil, soy sauce, and egg in a bowl. Prepare a thick batter and add the cauliflower. Fry in a shallow pan till golden brown color appears from all sides. For sauce, sauté garlic and ginger in peanut and sesame oil. Mix vegetable stock, soy sauce, cornstarch, brown sugar. Add the sauce to the fried cauliflower and serve.

16. Cauliflower Bagels

Wash and chop cauliflower into small pieces and blend. In a bowl take this shredded cauliflower and mix almond meal, yeast, salts and garlic powder. Add eggs till the mixture blends. Shape them and sprinkle with onion and sesame seeds. Bake till golden.

17. Cauliflower Tortillas

Chop the soft parts of the florets leaving behind the hard parts. Process it finely. Microwave the processed flower. Drain out the moisture and mix it with eggs, cumin, salt, pepper, and cayenne. Prepare small tortilla; bake till the bottoms are golden. Then flip, till the other side is golden. Serve hot or store for later.

18. Sicilian Cauliflower Pasta

Make a paste of saffron and boiled cauliflower. Cook the pasta in water along with cauliflower stock. Combine the paste and pasta.

19. Cauliflower Couscous

Chop cauliflower till fine pieces are formed. Cook the cauliflower with garlic, ginger, and finely chopped onion till it is golden brown and nutty. Mix olives, parsley, salt and lemon zest.

Mix cauliflower, parsley, salt and white pepper. Make a sauce out of butter, flour and milk. Remove the sauce from heat and add egg yolk, pepper, and salt. Mix with cauliflower. Beat the egg whites and fold into a soufflé dish and bake. Serve hot.
