1.

Classic Donut

Here is the basic Donut recipe which is very easy to make and equally tasty to eat!

Ingredients –

  • Maida- 2 cups
  • Milk- ¾ cup
  • Butter
  • Sugar and powdered Sugar- 2 tablespoons each
  • Yeast- 1 teaspoon
  • Salt
  • Oil

Procedure –

  • Put Flour, Sugar, Salt, yeast and Butterin a bowl and mix well. While mixing, add lukewarm Milk and start kneading the dough.
  • Knead the dough for another 5-7 minutes so that the dough is soft.
  • Take a small round from the dough. Place some dry Flour on the board and start making a round circle of the dough using a rolling pin.
  • When it is about a ½ cm thick, make round Donuts from the circle. Once you are done doing this with entire amount of Flour, brush some oil on them and let them aside for about 2 hours.
  • After 2 hours, they become puffy. Now, take a frying pan and put some oil into it. Fry the Donuts on low flame. Once all the Donuts are fried, put powdered Sugar over them! The simple and sweet Donuts are ready to eat!

Ingredients-

  • Flour- 1 & ¾ cup
  • Baking powder- ½ cup
  • Salt
  • Ground Cinnamon- ¾ teaspoon
  • Ground Nutmeg- ¼ teaspoon
  • Ground Ginger – ¼ teaspoon
  • Sugar
  • Oil
  • Eggs- 3
  • Pumpkin puree- 1 & ½ cup
  • Vanilla extract

Procedure –

  • Prepare the dough of the Donuts with the ingredients as mentioned in the first recipe. Make wells in the centre of the Donuts.
  • Take a bowl, add all the dry ingredients and mix. Now, take another bowl in which you need to add Sugar, eggs, Vanilla extract and pumpkin puree. Mix it using a mixer/blender. Add the dry mixture to this bowl and again mix them well using a mixer.
  • Fill the Donut wells with this Puree. Bake these Donuts in an oven for 13-16 minutes. Allow them to cool and coat them with granulated Sugar!
  • Yummy pumpkin Donuts are ready to be eaten!

Peanut Butter Cheesecake Donuts

Most of you like Peanut Butter and when it is combined with your favourite Donuts, you just can’t resist to have them!

Ingredients-

  • Dry yeast- 2 & ¼ tablespoon
  • Warm Milk- 1 cup
  • Bread Flour- 2 & ½ cups
  • Vanilla extract- 1 teaspoon
  • Eggs – 3
  • Granulated Sugar- 1 cup
  • Salt
  • Butter that is cut into small cubes
  • Oil
  • Cream cheese- 2 cups
  • Cream- 1/3 cup
  • Peanut Butter- ¾ cup
  • Chopped dark Chocolate- ½ cup
  • Caramel- ½ cup

Procedure-

  • Take a bowl, mix 1 tablespoon of yeast and ¼ cup of Milk. Now, add ¼ cup of Flour to it and make a smooth paste. Let it stand for 30 minutes.
  • After 30 minutes, add the remaining Yeast and Milk to this paste. Along with Vanilla and Eggs, add the remaining Flour too. Whisk till it becomes smooth.
  • Again add 1 cup of Flour with Salt and Sugar to it. Mix in a mixer for about 1 minute, after adding Butter to it.
  • After you are done mixing, start adding ¼ cup at a time and knead for about 1 minute. After this is done, cover the dough and keep it aside for 1 hour.
  • For the Cheesecake filling, add the Cream Cheese, Cream, Vanilla, Sugar and Peanut Butter in a mixer bowl. Mix it till it becomes fluffy.
  • Make the Dough into round shape using rolling pin and cut round Donuts out of it. Heat a pan and fry the Donuts on medium heat.
  • Once the Donuts are cooled, use a piping tube to pipe the Cheesecake filling prepared initially. After filling them, top them with a little Caramel and Chocolate and enjoy!

Everything nowadays is turning ‘Funky’. So, why shouldn’t our Donuts get funky? Let’s look at an easy recipe which will make our classic Donuts totally funky!

Ingredients-

  • Yeast- 1 & ¾ teaspoons
  • Warm water- 6 teaspoons
  • Milk- 2 &½ cup
  • Butter
  • Egg – 1
  • Granulated Sugar- 1 cup
  • Salt
  • Flour- 2 & ½ cup
  • Oil
  • Thick sliced bananas – 3
  • Cream Cheese- 1 cup
  • Nutella- ½ cup

Procedure-

  • Make the Dough for Donuts using the instructions that are explained in the recipe 3.
  • After the Dough is ready, spread the dough into a round shape using rolling pin and take out round shaped Donuts out of it.
  • Fry these Donuts on medium heat in a preheated pan. Allow them to cool for 15-20 minutes.
  • While the Donuts are cooling, melt Butter in a pan and add Sugar to it. Put bananas in the pan and allow them to cook.
  • Add Butter and CreamCheese in a bowl and mix with a blender. Add Sugar to it according to the taste and mix for 2 minutes using a mixer.

Ingredients-

  • Flour- 1 cup
  • Baking powder- ¾ teaspoon
  • Cinnamon- ¼ teaspoon
  • Ginger- ¼ teaspoon
  • Pinch of cloves
  • Salt
  • Sugar- ½ cup
  • Egg -1
  • Applesauce- ¼ cup
  • Milk- ½ cup
  • Butter
  • Maple syrup- 2 tablespoons

Procedure-

  • Take dry ingredients in a large bowl and mix well. Once done with the dry ingredients, one by one add the wet ingredients and stir continuously.
  • Put this batter in a zip lock bag and cut a corner off. Using this plastic bag,pour the batter in the shape of mini Donuts in a pan.
  • Place this pan in an oven and let it bake for 7-8 minutes. Once baked properly, allow them to cool for some time.
  • Take a small pan and add Butter and ¼ cup Sugar into it. Let it boil for about 2 minutes and then add maple syrup, 1 tablespoon Milk to it.

Ingredients-

  • Flour- 3-4 cups
  • Salt
  • Milk powder- 4 tablespoon
  • Warm Milk- 1 cup
  • Sugar
  • Butter
  • Dry yeast- ½ teaspoon
  • Vanilla essence- 1 & ½ teaspoon
  • Oil
  • Chocolate sauce- ½ cup
  • Chopped Nuts- ½ cup

Procedure-

  • Mix Yeast, warm Milk, Sugarand Vanilla essence in a bowl and leave it for 5 minutes.
  • Take another bowl, add Flour, Salt, Milk powder to it. After mixing them well, add the Milkso that it becomes sticky.
  • Add Butter to it and mix well. Cover it with a clean cloth and let it rise to its double size.
  • Add more Flour and knead so as to make it into a soft dough.
  • Roll this dough on a parchment paper using rolling pin and cut them into Donut shapes. Let the Donuts stand and rise for another 30 minutes.
  • Fry these Donuts. Top it with Chocolate sauce and chopped nuts.

Ingredients-

  • Flour- 1 cup
  • Sugar
  • Lime zest – ¼ cup
  • Baking powder- 1 teaspoon
  • Salt
  • Butter Milk- ¼ cup
  • Fresh lime juice- ¼ cup
  • Egg-1
  • Vanilla essence
  • Butter
  • Coconut extract- 2 teaspoons
  • Heavy Cream- ¼ cup
  • Shredded Coconut- ½ cup

Procedure-

  • Put Sugar and Lime zest in a bowl and press it with the back of the spoon. This will let the flavour merges in the Sugar.
  • Add this to mixture of Flour, baking powder, Salt and Sugar. Beat eggs, lime juice, Vanilla, Milk and Butter in the bowl.
  • Mix them well. Pour this batter in a zip lock bag and cut one corner. Using this bag, put round shaped Donuts in a pan. Bake them for 8-10 minutes.
  • Add Coconut extract, Cream and Sugar in a bowl, and mix well. The icing is ready!
  • Dip the Donuts in the icing. Sprinkle the shredded Coconutand lime zest on top of Donuts.

  • Flour- 3 cups
  • Sugar
  • Egg – 1
  • Warm Milk- ¾ cup

  • Butter
  • Vanilla Essence
  • Oil
  • Jam- 1 & ½ cups
  • Cinnamon powder- 2 teaspoons

Procedure-

  • Start by taking yeast in a bowl, 1 teaspoon of Sugar and 3-4 tablespoons of warm Milk. Let the mixture become foamy.
  • Take another bowl and mix egg, Sugar, Vanilla, Milk and Salt in it till Sugar is melted.
  • Pour the yeast mixture in this bowl. Now, add Flour to this bowl and knead till the dough becomes soft. Let the dough rise for 1 hour.
  • Once done with this, punch off the air and spread it on a parchment paper. Cut it into round Donuts and fry them in a pan.
  • Mix Cinnamon powder and Sugar together to make CinnamonSugar. Now, take any flavoured jam of your choice and warm it in an oven for 30 seconds.

Procedure-

  • Add first four ingredients in a bowl and mix well. Then, combine Milk, eggs and Yoghurt to this mixture.

  • For Caramelised white Chocolate, boil Cream over medium heat. After boiling, turn off the gas and add Chocolate to it. Keep stirring it for 5 minutes. Let it cool for some time.

  • Apples – 2
  • Apple Cider – 1 cup
  • Flour- 2 cups
  • Baking powder

  • ButterMilk- ¼ cup

Procedure-

  • Peel the apples and chop them with cider in a saucepan. Set it over medium heat. Cover the pan and let the apples cook till they get soft. Let it cook till the cider is reduced completely. The applesauce is ready!
  • Take a bowl and mix baking powder, Flour, Cinnamon, Salt and Nutmeg. Beat egg and Applesauce to this mixture. Add Sugar and stir well. Beat the batter till it mixes properly!
  • Pour this batter on a parchment paper and refrigerate it overnight.
  • The next day, heat a pan with some oil in it. Put another cup of cider in a pan over medium heat until it gets reduced to ¼ cup. After this, mix powdered Sugar till it becomes sticky.
