Allow it to heat up and then add in the Mustard Seeds. Once they start popping, add the Cumin Seeds, Channa Dal & some handful of Peanuts. Add in the Dry Red Chili, Turmeric Powder, and Asafoetida. Mix it well until the Onions are cooked but no browning. Also add salt now as per taste. Meanwhile, whisk the Yogurt with the Water and pour it into the pan. Keep mixing. Add in Ginger and allow the liquid to come to a boil. Once it starts boiling, lower heat and add in the Suji little at a time. Mix really well and make sure there are no dry lumps/spots of Suji. Cover and cook for 2-3 minutes. Mix and stir up the Upma. Turn the flame off, cover and allow it to rest for another 5 minutes. Open and serve with Cilantro as garnishing (lime juice optional).

You can a replace it with any filling of your choice. Be creative and be imaginative, versatile. Seal the sides of kachori before frying. After deep frying, your hot kachoris are ready to be served.
You might have learned about chocolate cake or other flavored cakes but have you ever imagined of making Rava cake or suji cake. In this rava cake recipe, semolina (Suji) is used as the base. In a medium sized bowl, mix together rava, yogurt (curd) and sugar. Form batter by adding softened ghee to medium sized bowl. Wait sometime until it rests. Heat oven to 180 degree Celsius . Add baking soda, cardamom powder and other optional ingredients – vanilla extract and sliced almonds. Whisk well. Line your cake pan with aluminum foil paper and gently sprinkle and drizzle it with a few drop of ghee. Pour the batter evenly into it. Sprinkle some saffron strands on top.
