About Dilli Haat :
Dilli Haat is a place in South Delhi near INA market, which is a famous open-air food plaza, along with handicrafts from all over India. This place is for everyone, whosoever comes to Delhi – resident or non-residents. Dilli Haat attracts mainly foreigners, but then it is equally famous among us Indians. This place has food stalls and handicrafts from almost every state in India. So, if you are a food lover and shopping freak, Dilli Haat is a perfect ‘chill out’ place for you. The open air complex, which is spread over an area of 6 acres, is a complete reflection of the variety of cultures and foods which we find in different parts of our country. It doesn’t matter where you come from, Goa, Jammu, Assam, or Gujarat, you will find your typical and authentic state cuisines here.
Trying foods at all food stalls in Dilli Haat is next to impossible, so here I am, suggesting you some of the top cuisines places at Dilli Haat which will give an unforgettable experience with food.

1. Rajasthan Food Stall
Rajasthan is famous for its royal thali, mainly consisting of “daal baati churma” and other numerous delicacies. Dilli Haat offers you the same authentic “Rajasthani Thali” and if you are looking for some light snack then “Raj Kachori” is the best option.

2. Bhooj Bhaat
Bhooj Bhaat is actually a food stall of Bihari cuisines. At Bhooj Bhaat, you can try some really exotic and delicious “Litti Chokha” and if you are a non-veg lover then “Litti Chokha with Chicken or Mutton” would be an amazing choice for you. For snacks, you can try “Patna Market Chaat” and “Ghughni-Chura Badam.”

3. Maharashtra Food Stall
It is a perfect place for snacks and light items. Though they also provide a proper full course meal, but this stall is more famous for its snack bites. Here you can try “Vada Pav,” “Sev Puri” and “Bhel Puri”, which are some really famous snacks from Maharashtra. All these snacks are totally mouth-watering and satisfying for the taste buds.

4. Incrivel Goa
This is the perfect place if you want to taste authentic seafood like “Prawn Biryani,” “Fish Biryani” among others. So, even if you are from the far coastal region, this place will not disappoint you. You can satisfy your hunger with the variety of seafood that is provided here.

5. Hotel Tamil Nadu
Now comes the stall for the South-Indian cuisines. From this stall I personally love and recommend two dishes – “Mysore Masala Dosa” and “Mixed Uttapam”. All the other cuisines are equally tasty and exotic, but the aforementioned are a must try.

6. Punjabi Rasoi
Punjabi’s are known around the world for their food and dance. At Dilli Haat also this place is THE most happening place. All the dishes here are so amazing that you will be confused as to which one to choose. My suggestion would be to try “Shahi Paneer with Butter Naan” or “Chicken curry with butter Naan” and “Makke Di Roti and Sarson Da Saag” (Sarson Da Saag is a seasonal food available in winters only).

7. Assam Food Stall
This stall is for retreating yourself with exotic north-eastern food like Momos and Thukpa. Here you can find variety of Momos like Chicken Momos, Pork Momos, and Vegetable Momos. Then there is Egg Thukpa, Chicken Thukpa, and Pork Thukpa.

8. Manipur Food Stall
This place is known for its dish called “Bamboo Shoot.” It is available in many options like with vegetables, chicken, and/or pork.

9. Nagaland
Here also you can find Momos, Thukpa, and Bamboo Shoots but if there is one thing which is not available at any other stall, is the variety of Pork Dishes. My personal favorite is “Smoked Pork Chili.” Every other cuisine is equally amazing and mouth is watering here. But honestly, if you are a Pork lover, then you are at the right place.

10. Mother Dairy Ice-cream
Last but not least, I will suggest visiting this stall for ice-cream. As any meal is incomplete without Meetha and what could be better than ice-cream in meetha. Mother Dairy is a dairy brand in New Delhi, which offers its customers more than 50 flavors of ice-creams, kulfis, candies, and softy. “Strawberry Crush Ice-cream,” “Paan Kulfi,” and “Golgappa Candy” are some of its famous ones and should be totally given a try.
