As ITER is a well-known and populated college, you’ll find many food options near it. The whole ITER road is packed with tasty food stalls and budget-friendly restaurants. When the evening kicks in, and you want something to snack on or even want a lunch place to hang out with friends, these below-mentioned places will help you decide according to your choices and budget.
1.Alfa Biriyani
If you love Biriyani, both non veg and veg, try Alfa Biriyani. It is a go-to place for every Biriyani lover if you want a change of taste. It is just near the ITER college’s main gate beside Arya World. You’ll find a variety of biriyani options if you are a nonveg. It is budget-friendly as well as enough in quantity.
2.Taste Of Bhubaneswar – Food Junction
Another go-to place for Biriyani should be this food truck. It was a small Dhaba, but now they sell on a food truck. Though they have fast food, the show stealer is the Biriyani. It is budget-friendly and enough in quantity for you to feel. During lunch hours, you will notice many people carrying Biriyani back to their homes or even gather there to have it. Not only at lunch but they are available till nine at night. So, go for it!
3.Madhuban Food Galleria
Lunch dates with friends? This place has various options. It is just in front of Book Island. It has all the options to satisfy your taste, like Chinese, veg, non-veg, starters, etc. It is both budget-friendly and taste-wise good. So do visit here. I’ll suggest you try the mix veg biriyani and chicken biriyani.
4.Scholars Restaurant
Scholars Restaurant is the favorite of almost every person living there. It is affordable, provides good food, and recently, they have renovated the place, providing a more hygienic and comfortable place. They also have fast service, and almost everything tastes good. I recommend trying mushroom chilly, biriyani, chicken lollypop, naan, and the list never ends. Bring your family here next time you visit.
5.The Aromas
The Aromas is a great place to hang out with your friends. It has a dim and smoky atmosphere that makes it the right place for you if you love having food in a dark atmosphere. The food here is a bit expensive but is good. I’ll suggest having honey-tossed chicken lollipops and malai chicken.
6.Sahoo Tiffin Center
Are you tight on budget or want to eat something desi? Try Bara from Sahoo Tiffin Centre. It is present in front of All Time Fitness. He makes tasty bara and puri. In the morning, he sells breakfasts like bara, puri, idli, and aloo chop that are rich in taste, and in only a single serving, you will feel full. And during the evening time, his maximum selling is bara. Trust me, there are so many bara lovers here. Try it once, and you’ll come again and again.
7.Paratha Hotel
As the name says, this restaurant gives you various options for parathas. It also has other foods, including breakfast and lunch. It also has Chinese food. Try its aloo paratha and dosa. It is one of the best I’ve tried. This place is budget-friendly and gives a cozy ambiance. You can come with friends, family, or even on a solo date. Not only food, it provides different juices and shakes as well. As this place is just below the gym, you can always come here to get a glass of juice and try not to get tempted by the food.
8.Kabsa Foods
It is a very compactly placed dine-in option if you are searching for a quick place to eat and go. Its biriyani is the most famous here. When not so crowded, they can make your food in very little time, no matter if you’ve made a lot of orders. It would be a great place to eat lunch if you want a place for less time.
9.Indian Chicken Express
Are you a chicken lover? Well, most of my friends are. And they love visiting ICE for their crispy chicken cravings. From chicken popcorn to chicken lollypops, small combos to big ones, you’ll find almost everything tasty and affordable price. Not only for nonveg lovers, it is also popular among the veg ones. They have a variety of burgers, wraps, sandwiches, and cola and fries. The ambiance is perfect for hanging out with friends. The service is fast, and the staff is friendly too. You can try chicken hot wings, burger meals, and chicken popcorn.
10.Food Stalls Near Lane L3
Near the ITER road lane L3, there are several fast food stalls that are perfect for your evening cravings. You’ll find them from around 4 p.m. till 8 or 9. There is a pakodi stall, bara samosa stall, pani puri, momos, and a sweet stall with various rasgullas and chena poda. This place has a variety from salty to sweet. The must-try foods are pani puri, bara, pakodi, and rasgulla.
11.Country Kitchen
Country Kitchen, a well-known family restaurant, is on the roadside of the main road. If you have come with your family, it is a good and low-priced place to have lunch or dinner. They give sufficient quantity to make you feel full and satisfied. They have two separate dining spaces, so if you need some quiet personal space, go to the inside dining hall. The ambiance is good, lit with low lighting. Try veg pulao, chicken chilly, chili mushroom and naan. You will love it!
12.Wow Momo And Wow Chinese
If you want to try something out of the street foods, try WOW Momos and WOW Chinese. They are beside Beyrut restaurant. They are a good brand, having a variety of momo styles and Chinese options. In this outlet, the thing that I tried and liked was veg garlic noodles. So I’ll suggest that. Also, try the Blue Heaven mojito. They give fast service and have a small seating space as well.
13.Adda Cafe
Are you looking for a place to have a lunch date or celebrate your birthday party with friends or family? Adda Restaurant is a great place to try. It has rich modern architecture with sober colors and a great ambiance. Whether you come in the daytime or at night, it’s beautiful both ways. You can get both Indian and Chinese food options with friendly staff. And it has Mexican food too. I will suggest trying the Paneer Manchurian fried rice bowl.
14.Waffle House
Want to try something different apart from street foods and spicy ones? Try waffles from Waffle House. They have many varieties of waffles and have a good ambiance as well. Perfect for a sudden date plan. Try having a chocolate waffle, blueberry waffle, or the classic one if you do not like that much sweetness. And, just because it is called Waffle House doesn’t mean it doesn’t have other options. It has pizzas, fries, coffee, and many more.
15.Keshari Garnish
Keshari is more of a family and local restaurant with various meal options. Be it the local food or the restaurant food, it has both. Having a cozy and friendly environment, it’s great for regular meals as it’s affordable and tasty. It has a wide range of food options and would be the right place to have your family dinner if the budget is low.
16.Jagamara Food Park
Jagamara Food Park is one of the famous Khao Gulli of Bhubaneswar, with so many options and tasty food that one can’t explore in a single day. As the dawn arises, this place gets filled up with people of different age groups. There are fast foods, veg stalls, nonveg stalls, juice shops, mocktails, and many more here. It is in front of Raw Fitness gym. Mine and my friends’ personal favorites are lassis from the juice bar, tandoori momos, shawarma, and soya chaps.
17.Jagamara Food Court 2
Jagamara Food Court 2 is a freshly opened food court with various new options. It might look like both the places would have the same thing, but as you get to know this place, you’ll soon find the varieties. Not only this, it has a washroom for both men and women. The entrance welcomes you with a beautiful fountain. When you visit here, try the Korean corn dogs and cheesecakes. These corn dogs have made a fan following on Instagram.
18.Sabooz Restaurant
With a decent and rich interior, this place is bright and elegant. It has a mixed-up color theme of green, brown, and white. This place is perfect for a fancy lunch date with friends or loved ones. This place is also good for your Instagram pictures. Apart from this, this place’s main takeaway is the food. It might be expensive from a college student’s point of view, but they know how to present their food. You can try the veg platter.
19.Impulse Restro
With a proper sham-ki-dhaba-wali-chai theme or, in good words, an indo-western theme, this place is suitable to visit with friends in the evening. They have a brick-themed wall with a lit auto design to fill your Instagram feeds. Now about the food, the cost is medium friendly. You’ll get all sorts of food, be it Indian or Chinese, with various drink options. It is a family restaurant, so you can come with your family. Try the chicken chili, baby cornsticks, and more.
20.Burger One
As the name suggests, it is famous for burgers. It is suitable for a take-it-and-go kind of situation. You can sit there and eat too. You have different options there, like fries, nuggets, etc, but the main thing it is famous for is burgers. If you are looking for a quick snack, have the burger. The place isn’t that big, but the food is affordable and tasty.
