1.Azees Bhai Kadai
The spot has my entire taste buds to dive in. Let me briefly explain the reason. Azees Bhai Kadai is the place where you will have every variety in nonveg. Not from the crowd, not from the aroma, you will mouth-water just by the spatula sounds of kothu parotta. This stall usually opens in the evening and runs till midnight. My favorite from Ajees is Infused Chicken. You must try those Squid roast with kari dosa, thattu idly with Chicken gravy and Fish fry. And the Bun parotta. Don’t miss them. This spot is quite famous in the neighborhood. No strength to make dinner? Come Let’s get it done from Ajees. You’ll have UPI option here.
2.Thattu Idly Kari Kulambu
One of the delectable stalls on the list is Thattu Idly Kari Kulambu. You’ll find this near the Panagal park opposite Starbucks. Thattu Idly Kari Kulambu is usually a dinner spot. The menu is similar to Ajees. If there were a competition between them, it would be a draw match. The crowd here is enormous, which makes even the cashier work to manage their customers. Customer-friendly. Your dinner may be anything, let me tell you, finish your dinner with egg dosa and fish gravy. Trust me. That’ll be an incredible dinner you’ll never regret. Have space in your stomach for these.

Their menu is crazy. They sell only soups, and the menu card is like a magazine. The menu ranges from herbal to spicy. Soups start from 20 rs. Along with the menu, every day they have a special dish on their menu. It depends on the day of your visit. They serve starters, too (veggies, mushrooms, Manchurian, and many more). Here we are with the dessert spot. Let’s beat the heat with scoop servings. You’ll get the tastiest ice cream scoops at the place. The place is well known for its traditional Chettinad taste. I recommend this place to have the homely service. Why? The mess is run by Kavignar Kannadasan’s Family. God damn. Don’t ever miss this spot if you are from far away. They serve Burmese food. I’ve been obsessed with their egg bejo since I was obsessed with the dialogue ”Atho, beejoooo, Mohinga’’ from my favorite movie. Yes, they have Atho, Bejo And Mohinga. Their stall is also among the Zomato listings. You can order them. But I recommend having warm food in their stall. Certain foods are meant to be served hot. I have seen some of my friends hating Atho for their first try. If you are hungry, I recommend you to go with egg bejo. Make sure you try everything here at different visits. Don’t stick to a particular menu.
16.Saravana Stores Cafeteria
One of the underrated Cafeterias is Saravana Stores cafeteria. The cafeteria can’t be listed under street food. But you have to try them if you are looking for a budget-friendly lunch or dinner spot. Their menu for lunch is vast and affordable. This is The Legend Saravana store, located beside RMKV, North Usman Road. The cafeteria is on the first floor. During Lunchtime it’s crowded. They have rice starting from 35 rs. Don’t worry about the quantity; they serve a lot. If you are a moderate eater, you can try one plate from the cafeteria. Please, take my advice, take a friend with you. The cafeteria has sweets, puffs, cutlets, samosas, cakes, donuts, fresh juice, Ice creams, teas, and coffees. My favorite dessert here is Cassata. Their washrooms are super clean.

Suppose you couldn’t move to any of the mentioned places. It’s not a problem. Enter Ranganathan Street, you’ll find almost every dish I said in the street. The street is next to West Mambalam railway station. I advise you not to try all food times from the street if you can’t tolerate them. Mostly, our street is sunny.
